Times and documents

Times:

  • Full-time studies

- registered candidates submit all documents (in photocopies) in appropriate Dean's Office on 4-6 June, 2012. Secondary school graduates in 2012 supplement their documents with a photocopy of the certificate of secondary education on 3-4 July, 2012;

- intermedia: 4 - 6 and 12 - 13 June;

- results of the entrance examination and the list of admitted persons shall be announced on 6 July, 2012,

- admitted persons confirm their wish to take up studies and submit original documents up to 30 July, 2012.

  • Part-time studies

- registered candidates submit all documents (in photocopies) in appropriate Dean's Office on 5-9 July, 2012;

- results of the entrance examination and the list of admitted persons shall be announced on 17 July, 2012;

- admitted persons confirm their wish to take up studies and submit original documents up to 30 August, 2012.

 

 

 


 

 

 

Documents:

Registered candidates submit photocopies of documents certified by their secondary school or university, an office issuing the document, a notary public or by the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (in the case of candidates sitting the entrance examination for a successive time). Photocopies of the documents shall not be returned.


Required documents:

  • A print of the registration questionnaire with the candidate's consent for processing his/her data required during the course of recruitment. Candidates indicate the area and the form of study in the registration questionnaire.
  • A photocopy of the certificate of secondary education. Graduates in 2012 submit it on 3-4 July, 2012,
  • A photocopy of a diploma of completing first cycle studies (with a Diploma Supplement), Master studies (with a Diploma Supplement) or other equivalent one (it concerns persons applying for admission to second-cycle studies) - the Faculties indicate other terms and conditions which should be fulfilled by the candidate for second cycle studies, e.g. a degree in a specific domain of science or art as well as those scientific and artistic disciplines which are included in them, they also list similar areas of study to artistic disciplines - fine arts, design and conservation and restoration of works of art.
  • A photocopy of an ID card or a passport (the original for inspection),
  • A proof of payment of the entrance examination fee to the Academy's bank account: Kredyt Bank S.A. VI Oddział w Krakowie 45 1500 1487 1214 8005 4502 0000, indicating the area and form of study. The amount of the fee shall be established after publishing of the appropriate regulation by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
  • Winners and finalists of Art Competition for secondary students at central level, Section of Art - a photocopy of a certificate issued by the Main Commission of the Art Competition.
  • Winners of III stage of National Art Review in 2011 -       the result, confirmed by the jury's protocol and the candidate's application for admission to full-time studies in one area of study (please, indicate) in the discipline of fine arts, which is conducted at the Academy of Fine Arts in the form of full-time studies.

 

Admitted persons are required to deliver:

  • The original or the copy of the secondary education certificate issued by the District Examination Board,
  • A diploma of completing of first cycle studies (with a Diploma Supplement), Master studies (with a Diploma Supplement) or other equivalent one (it concerns persons applying for admission to second cycle studies),
  • Four valid photos with dimensions of 45x35 mm (the student ID card type),
  • A medical certificate of the lack of contraindications to take up studies on the selected area of study (referrals for medical check-ups are provided by appropriate Deans' Offices after the announcement of results. The referral lists harmful, dangerous and burdensome factors for students of the given  area of study. Deans' Office have the list of Occupational Medicine Centres which make the check-ups free of charge),
  • A statement of taking up studies At the Academy of Fine Arts in the academic year 2012/2013.
