In moments of silence, I wonder if what I see is merely a reflection of something that no longer exists. In this reflection, I sense myself, yet I cannot see myself, and everything around me is so fragile it seems as if it might shatter into tiny pieces at any moment. The fragments left over from this world as it once was scatter only to form a complete image again a moment later. At times, I am conscious and active matter, autonomous and unyielding. At times, I lose all of this, including the matter that constitutes me, yet I feel no emptiness, fear, or confusion. It is precisely in these moments of apparent disorientation, while suspended in limbo, that I can see myself.

The cabinet of curiosities in which we find ourselves reflects the straying of our rationality, the loss of the way we have viewed ourselves up to now. The space that surrounds us is formed within the framework of a new order dictated by the mutual relationships between every existing particle—each of which acts, influences, and shapes. It is not we who create ourselves; rather, it is these relational interactions that compel us, at the same time, to engage in constant self-reflection within ever-changing contexts. As we attempt to present ourselves within this space, we continually encounter its elusiveness, as if our identity were in constant motion, in a never-ending process of becoming. The Cabinet of Curiosities is a place where the boundaries of our “self” blur in dialogue with our surroundings, in a constant flow of forms, meanings, and sensations. In this unusual realm, filled with artifacts, images, and sounds, every encounter with reality becomes a moment of discovery—not only of the external world, but also of our own, previously unrecognized layers.

It is in this subtle symbiosis—where matter, technology, and the subconscious intertwine into a single whole—that we experience ourselves anew—in a way that cannot be captured or confined within the rigid framework of definitions. We become both creators and creatures, shaped by our surroundings. At every moment, this space poses the question of who we are in a world that constantly stimulates us, transforms us, and tests our sensitivity. Thus, it compels us to redefine our purpose as individuals—not in simple terms, but as a complex network of connections in which every event, every thought, every image becomes part of us and, at the same time, something beyond us, and the dreamlike and elusive gain agency here.
