For integrated master’s degree programs, students are required to pass a foreign language exam at the B2+ or C1+ level (for students beginning their studies at the C1 level) as defined by the CEFR.
For successfully completing a foreign language course in a single-cycle master’s program, a student earns a total of 5 ECTS credits (1 ECTS credit per semester), which are awarded after completing the full number of hours in a given semester, and in the case of the fifth semester of study—after passing the exam.
The first and third semesters end with a pass, while the second and fourth semesters end with a pass with a grade. The fifth semester ends with a pass and a grade for the final exam.
To be eligible to take the foreign language exam, students must have passed all semesters.
