Zapraszamy do udziału w 9-tej edycji Międzynarodowego Biennale Architektury Wnętrz, które odbędzie się na przełomie października i listopada b.r. Tematem przewodnim wydarzenia są zmiany: globalne i lokalne, przestrzenne, strukturalne, programowe, zmysłowe, estetyczne, kulturowe i inne (jesteśmy otwarci na Waszą interpretację tematu) oraz związane z nimi wyzwania, jakie stają przed projektantem, użytkownikiem, artystą i odbiorcą.

Każda zmiana to wyzwanie.
Międzynarodowe Biennale Architektury Wnętrz to obszar komunikacji – wymiany wiedzy, poglądów i doświadczeń w obliczu zmian i wyzwań współczesnego świata. Jest wspólną przestrzenią architektów wnętrz, nauczycieli akademickich, studentów oraz przedstawicieli firm z branży; metaforycznym mostem pomiędzy sztuką, jaką jest architektura wnętrz i ludźmi, którzy ją tworzą i którzy jej doświadczają.
9. edycja Biennale związana jest z ważnym momentem w dziejach Wydziału Architektury Wnętrz, dla którego rok 2026 jest rokiem przełomowym. 1 października 2026 r. Wydział rozpoczyna czwarte ćwierćwiecze swojego istnienia i równocześnie po 18 latach powraca do jednostopniowego trybu stacjonarnych studiów magisterskich, wprowadzając nowy aspekt kształcenia związany z bioniką. To czas wyzwań (challenges) i zmian (changes), stąd temat tegorocznej edycji MBAW, łączący te dwa zagadnienia.

We invite you to participate in the 9th International Interior Design Biennial, which will take place this fall in Cracow. The event’s theme is change: global and local, spatial, structural, program, sensual, aesthetic, cultural, and other (we are open to your interpretation of the theme) and the related challenges facing designers, users, artists, and recipients.
The International Interior Design Biennial is a space for communication – exchanging knowledge, views, and experiences in the face of the changes and challenges of the contemporary world. It is a shared space for interior designers, academic professors, students, and representatives of companies in the industry; a metaphorical bridge between the art of interior design and the people – creators and those who experience the outcomes.
The 9th edition of the Biennial marks a significant moment in the history of the Faculty of Interior Design, for which 2026 is a milestone year. On October 1, 2026, the Faculty begins its fourth quarter-century of existence and, after 18 years, returns to the single-cycle, full-time Master’s degree program, introducing a new aspect of education related to bionics. This is a time of challenges and changes, hence the theme of this year’s edition of the Biennale, which combines these two themes.
