W „Interference” Michał Sroka traktuje wystawę jako układ nakładających się porządków. Punktem wyjścia jest architektura Galerii Piana, w którą artysta wprowadza lekką, modułową strukturę z tektury. Nie tworzy ona osobnej scenografii, lecz przenika istniejące wnętrze, przecina jego osie widoków i uruchamia nowe relacje pomiędzy ścianami, przejściami, pracami i ruchem widza.
Podobna logika powraca w obiektach i obrazach. Porowate, organiczne formy łączą się z elementami o odmiennym charakterze
i materialności, podczas gdy w malarstwie figury, fragmenty ciał, konstrukcje, maszyny i techniczne schematy nakładają się na siebie,
tracąc jednoznaczne hierarchie. To, co na jednym obrazie pozostaje motywem głównym, na innym może zostać zredukowane do śladu,
fragmentu lub elementu większej struktury.
Tytułowa interferencja zachodzi więc równocześnie na kilku poziomach: pomiędzy architekturą i aranżacją, między różnymi materiałami, pomiędzy figurą i strukturą obrazu, a także w samym sposobie patrzenia. Wystawa nie składa się z autonomicznych elementów, lecz z relacji, które pojawiają się chwilowo, zależnie od miejsca, dystansu i ruchu odbiorcy.

In Interference, Michał Sroka approaches the exhibition as a system of overlapping orders. The point of departure is the architecture of Piana Gallery, into which the artist introduces a light, modular structure made of cardboard. Rather than functioning as a separate scenography, it permeates the existing interior, cuts across its sightlines, and activates new relationships between walls, passageways, artworks, and the movement of the viewer. A similar logic recurs in the objects and paintings. Porous, organic forms are combined with elements of a different character and materiality, while in the paintings figures, fragments of bodies, constructions, machines, and technical diagrams overlap, losing any clear hierarchy. What remains the dominant motif in one painting may, in another, be reduced to a trace, a fragment, or an element within a larger structure.
The titular interference therefore takes place simultaneously on several levels: between architecture and exhibition arrangement, between different materials, between the figure and the structure of the image, and within the act of looking itself. The exhibition is not composed of autonomous elements, but of relationships that emerge only temporarily, depending on the viewer’s position, distance, and movement.
